Within our Center of Excellence «Structured Solutions and Treasury» (CoE SST), we have concentrated all of Bank Vontobel’s financial market activity in one central unit. Our unit offers credit products and structured products and covers the whole value chain thereof, such as structuring, pricing, documentation, issuance, lifecycle and risk management. We are distributing our products in a variety of markets in Europe and Asia. Operation and development of trading and client platforms is key to succeed within highly competitive and fast-moving markets.
Within SST, the business unit Product Management is responsible for the overall product and process development, product documentation as well as business risk and client support management. The unit interacts as a hub for cross-functional collaboration between our client units, finance & risk, legal & compliance and IT development (Technology).
What would your role be?
- Day-to-day management of structured products issuance activities like
- documentation creation and automation as well as publication
- Filing / product registration with external vendors like exchanges, data vendors, and central securities depositories
- Ensure compliance with post-listing requirements (e.g. life cycle and data management)
- Interaction with issuing and paying agents from different markets
- Focus on activities in the Swiss and Asian market and cross collaboration with Frankfurt based team taking care of European markets; possibility to interact in different languages
- Process management & optimization: identifying and implementing improvements in the processes to increase efficiency and productivity
- Coordinate and resolve ad-hoc production issues with various internal & external stakeholders and IT departments
What are we looking for?
- Commercial Employee (kaufmännische Grundausbildung) or higher education in business, business law or finance
- Feels comfortable with technologies and have affinities for digital solutions and automation
- Resilience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to cross-border collaborate with different functions within the organization
- Customer centric: You enjoy helping people proactively and have a highly service oriented mindset (efficiency, responsiveness, client satisfaction, ownership, tenacity)
- Curious: You like to constantly learn new things and are fascinated by understanding businesses in greater depth
- Fluent in German and English (French and Italian is a plus)
Preferred:
- Basic knowledge of structured products or derivatives or practical experience in the back-office environment of a financial institute
- SQL (data analytics) & data management
