Auterion, a leader in open-source drone solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Product Manager Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Product Management and Engineering teams, supporting the productization of features and assisting with project management tasks for our cutting-edge drone solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Feature Productization: Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to define, prioritize, and document product features. Help ensure features are ready for development and meet user needs.
  • Product Roadmap Support: Assist in tracking and updating product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of features and improvements.
  • Project Management: Support day-to-day project management tasks, including coordinating timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring clear communication across teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful product launches and the delivery of high-quality features.
  • User Feedback and Research: Assist in gathering user feedback, conducting market research, and analyzing customer needs to inform product decisions.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer demands, and competitive offerings. Assist in pricing analysis to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation related to product specifications, release notes, and progress updates. Ensure clear communication of product status to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Interest in Product Management: Strong passion for technology and product development, with a desire to learn and grow in the field of product management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Familiar with project management tools (e.g., JIRA) or a demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Market Awareness: Ability to research and analyze market trends and competitive pricing strategies.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Bonus: Experience with SaaS platforms, agile methodologies, or knowledge of drone technology is a plus but not required.
