SKAN, founded in 1968, is one of the pioneer companies in the field of cleanroom equipment and isolator design for the global pharmaceutical industry. The apprenticeships at SKAN are aimed at people who would like to complete a dual training course and serves as an entry into the professional world. During the three to four year apprenticeship period, the apprentices pass through different departments and areas and thus get an overview of the entire company. The exchange of ideas and cooperation between apprentices from the different professions is strongly encouraged. For example, the apprentices organize events, work together as a project team and learn a high degree of social and learn a high level of social and professional competence.
Responsibilities
- Training in the areas of business application, system engineering and customer support
- Insights into application development
- Installation of hardware and operating systems
- Planning, development and operation of electronic devices
- Written and verbal support for internal and external customers
- Specialist in system engineering or business information technolog
- Duration: 4 years
- Vocational school: 2 days per week in Basel
- Specialisation: platform development
- Vocational baccalaureate: possible
Hardskills
- Completed middle or upper school
- Good performance in scientific, mathematical and linguistic subjects
- Very good knowledge of German and English. Other languages are an advantage
