Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our logistics operations based in Zurich. The ideal candidate must be fluent in German and English and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management. As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations including the reception of goods, preparation of orders, inventory management, and ensuring the warehouse's smooth and secure operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Goods Reception & Dispatch:

• Supervise the reception and inspection of incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
• Oversee the preparation and dispatch of orders to meet customer requirements in a timely manner.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate stock levels and perform regular stock takes.
• Implement and manage the use of SAP WMS to track stock movement, storage, and retrieval.
• Analyze stock levels and coordinate with other departments for restocking as necessary.

Warehouse Security & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
• Develop and enforce security measures to safeguard the facility, personnel, and inventory.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, in line with company standards and industry best practices.

Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training when needed to optimize productivity and efficiency.

Operational Efficiency:

• Continuously review warehouse processes to identify and implement improvements for increased efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments such as procurement and logistics to streamline operations.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Ensure all warehouse transactions are accurately documented, including goods receipt, dispatch, and inventory movements.
• Prepare and present reports on warehouse activities, including inventory status, stock levels, and security issues.

Key Qualifications:

Languages:

• Fluent in German (C1 or higher) and English is essential.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience, with hands-on involvement in goods reception, order preparation, and inventory control.
• Proven experience with SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar warehouse management software.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and security measures.
• Proven track record in logistics.

Availability:
