As a Product Integration Specialist, in the sensory & product experience team, you will have the opportunity to transform trends, insights and ideas into early coffee product experiences. By leveraging digital tools, agile methods and adopting a consumer-centric approach, you will foster innovation and develop relevant recommendations to ensure the best coffee in-cup results through the use of Nespresso coffee machines. Your responsibilities will include organizing and conducting laboratory tests, collaborating with partners and ensuring the seamless integration of new product experiences into our portfolio. With your expertise, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our offerings and delivering exceptional experiences to our customers.


A Day in the Life of a Product Integration Specialist


  • Plan, organize, and run laboratory tests to transform trends and concepts into coffee product experiences while collaborating with and coaching laboratory technicians
  • Conduct capability comparisons and benchmarking for coffee, machines and packaging.
  • Screen products for sensory characteristics, design coffee menu development, and conduct technical sensory tastings and demo workshops.
  • Ensure supply and preparation of materials for tests and maintain accurate records, protocols and material
  • Support consumer studies with data-driven insights, and research and explain trends in existing and new territories.
  • Build relevant recommendations through agile analysis & fact-based reporting
  • Update IT platforms for project management, tracking, KPIs, and master in-house apps and liaise with developers for maintenance and improvements.
  • Propose and lead initiatives to improve ways of working.
  • Collaborate with the different departments and act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) on specific projects.


What will make you successful


  • Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or relevant field
  • Solid experience in product development and well-versed in laboratory/manufacturing environment & instruments
  • Coffee product knowledge is a strong plus
  • Fundamental knowledge of coffee machines or home appliances is a plus
  • Good digital literacy and IT curiosity with usage of AI tools, IT platforms, data analytics and statistics
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage projects
  • Fluency in English is a must, French language skills is a strong plus
