A Day in the Life
Medtronic is hiring a Sales representative for French-speaking Switzerland to strengthen our sales team for the TAVI business unit. In the role you will be part of a team committed to the treatment of over 70 of the world's most complex and challenging conditions.As the position is a remote one, your home or place of living is meant to be your primary work location. However, you might be asked to travel and work from a Medtronic location on an occasional basis.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Analyze the marketplace, develop effective territory and account sales action plans
- Perform all activities to maximize sales, in line with a corporate commercial strategy, from product introduction and presentation to contract negotiation
- Identify and address all key decision makers (e.g.: clinical, administrative and economic), as well as key opinion leaders in all the accounts
- Further increase penetration in existing accounts, develop existing accounts into new potential product therapies or patient therapies, eventually developing current non-buying accounts
- Attend presentations in key professional congresses and events, eventually communicating about them
- Provide technical support in the Operating room to physicians, consultants, cardiologists and further actors according to territory guidelines
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Degree in electrical or medical engineering or successfully completed medical training (e.g. nurse or operating room nurse), or equivalent professional experience
- Analytical skills (to understand local market and customer needs) to develop country specific strategies and tactics
- Fluency in French and English
- A friendly and go-to-solve personality committed to fix issues with a customer, patient-orientated approach
- Excellent communication skills tied to collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders (e.g.: patients, doctors, buyers)
- Capability of working independently, with a high sense of urgency and reliability
