Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 5 lab technicians and technologists and is the global go-to dairy expert, with a strong link to plant-based formulations and general Sweet Goods applications knowledge.
• Drive and deliver creative solutions to the Dairy Taste & Plant-Based program for mid to long-term innovation projects
• Create a forward look of the required best-in-class expertise and stay alert of current and new industry technical trends (equipment & processes, raw materials, supplier webinars, academia trainings)
• In collaboration with S&R or external partners, identifies, test, validate breakthrough tonality, masking & taste modulating ingredients
• Participate to other Global Sweet Goods creation projects in particular those benefiting from presence in the EU
• Provide ad-hoc expertise support to regions for high value sophisticated/must-win briefs
• Maintains and develops communication network with the Regions and affiliates on taste related activities and topics

You bring:

• +15 years of relevant working experience as technical director with specialization in the dairy & plant-based related domains
• MSc/ PhD in Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Food Science or other relevant domains
• Formulation and food processing expertise coupled with in depth understanding of taste interactions, flavor technology and regulatory environment beyond plant-based & dairy
• Creativity paired with a passion for flavor and digital technologies
• Didactic, synthetic & eloquent person with strong interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English (C1), French (C1)
