The Opportunity

Today, Microcaps technology can be found in a cosmetic skin serum, encapsulated fine fragrance products and vegan caviar. Our aim is now to expand our production capacity and introduce a visionary and sustainable water-based fine fragrance. Subsequently, we plan to incorporate all-in-one nutrition delivery products into our portfolio. Join us on our mission to bring Swiss precision to the realm of microencapsulation.

The Impact

As Supply Chain Coordinator you are a vital part of the Customer Delivery Team, responsible for manufacturing products and delivering them to our customers. In your role, you support the team by executing & tracking material orders, as well as managing both domestic and cross-border logistics.

Your role includes:

General

• Maintenance of Master Data in our ERP System
• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and raise them to the team to enable process optimizations
• Maintain daily correspondence with international suppliers, team members, and partners

Purchasing

• Support raw material availability for production activities at our headquarters
• Place & track orders, monitor delivery schedules & initiate measures in case of delays
• Oversee goods receipts and corresponding bookings in our ERP system
• File delivery documents in our QMS

Logistics

• Execute and monitor shipments in collaboration with internal/external interfaces and our freight forwarding partners
• Create shipping orders including documentation (delivery notes, export/customs documents)
• Coordinate, process, review, and file delivery and shipping documents

This role is a good fit if you fulfil these requirements:

• You are currently pursuing a commercial education program, with interest in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management and you want to gain first experience in an industrial environment
• Enjoy working in a dynamic, process team-oriented & communicative environment
• Well organized & precise way of working with an eagerness to learn new things
• Analytical mindset for recognizing inefficiencies and suggesting actionable improvements
• Very good English (B2+) is a must, German and French is a plus
• Very good Office 365 knowledge regarding Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word & Excel
• Knowledge of ERP-Systems is a plus
• Work can be remote; we would request a physical presence once a month in our HQ
