The management team seems to care about the employees, usually you find snacks downstairs, they are good about offering time off, weekly pay, vehicles are new and I even got a Christmas Bonus!
Manager care, Hard working group, promoted in less than a year, 4 work days per week..
Long hours some days, transients and
Working at a local site as a patrol officer and back up supervisor. Typical day is pretty busy which includes responding to calls such as door alarms, unlocks/lock ups, emergency events. Fast paced with some downtime. Good pay for the work that is being done.
Like all Security companies, they are unorganized however things run smoothly. As it goes without saying if you do not like a job, you have to find a new one. As the current job market is looking for new recruits one can make more money by finding a different gig.
Securitas Inc has been the most productive and satisfying experience in my adult life because the entire company looks out for its employees and ensures their needs are met within the constraints of company policy. Highly recommend this company because there is always room for advancement.
Excellent manager and coworkers

The only bad thing about working there was people would call in and the supervisor me had to sometimes work doubles and triple shifts .that was the only. Thing I didn't like.
I made alot of friends there, some were movie stars and professional football and baseball players.
Too many people calling in sick which like i said forces other people work over time.
Training was horrible I did not learn a thing I went to multiple sites and got lost inside of a huge warehouse because they only trained me one day and said I could figure everything out. Nobody would answer their phone to help I finally got out. They do not pay on time they give out paper checks with messed up hours. The uniforms are cheap the managers do not care.
No breaks, benefits, training, pay
Job is simple, site is easy to walk around. Management is encouraging. No where for advancement past the job site. Other managers look down on some positions. The other people (non coworkers) are fun to interact with.
No real guidelines.
Shifts vary but you show up everyday to do a post. From my experience, Securitas is minimal at accountability and do not support financial growth. The sites I worked at were degrading because there is no talent in being a security officer so clients, coworkers, and customers can be rude and disrespectful at their will. I enjoyed learning from other people and my surroundings. The hardest part- not being upheld or compensated for my work experience.
it was expedient money
boring, valueless work, poor management
Hired full time mobile patrol despite the patrol supervisor not wanting me. Makes zero sense to wear a ballistic vest while unarmed. Paramilitary boots are very uncomfortable and can't be driven in. Enourages overtime when you miss your hits regardless on how tired you are. Was fired for my relief wrecking the company vehicle. Sent to collections after turning in all of my uniforms.
Decent pay, health insurance.
Overtime, blamed for others mistakes.
Worked For The Mobile Patrol Side Of The Company For A Few Months, Carrying Out Patrols Of Sites And Escorting Staff To Premises Activations, Management Were Good And Helpful When Called Upon, Downside To The Job Was Attending Alarm Activations To Local Schools And Premises, Sometimes Broken Into And Would Have No PPE Or Alarms For Quick Response, Pay Rate For The Job Not Great And For The Workload Added At Times, But Had No Pay Issues And Payed On Time
Own Boss, Good Management, Meeting New People, Good Team, Always Busy
Lack Of PPE, Low Pay For Role, Long Days
Securitas l work at the company for 30 years and was treated badly securitas is the worst company to work for they don't want to pay they mess up your paycheck and they will take money from you I don't like that company and I hope that company fails because the way they treat offices they do not care about offices only to put them at site to get money and that's it.
Health care was too expensive
8 hours of work, overtime occasionally available Must be self motivated tasks are provided but its up to each individual to establish a routine around completion
Securitas is terrible management and no one has your best interest no work balance they pocket raises. Management gets paid during hurricane evacuations but hourly employees do not
Good starting salary
• Monitoring premises, such as banks and industrial sites, by preforming mobile patrol; both foot- and vehicle-patrol. • Kept detailed reports upon arrival and departure of the premise. • Responsible for checking the status of other guards on site. • Reported to alarms and contacted appropriate Emergency Personnel when required.
Armed Mobile patrol for 15 an hour, first you are required to carry the company firearm that they do not train you to use. The weapon must be carried in the vehicle in a locked box in the trunk and you are not permitted to have it in your duty holster at client locations. Management only cares that you complete your patrol run sheet for the shift . Plenty of bosses but no leaders. High turnover low morale
