worked on the 2 day weekend shift in Galway. Made friends for life. Had the best craic in my life while getting paid very well. Work is not too difficult but management aren't great and I found there was a lot of breach of confidentiality. In some areas you have to stand for the twelve hours.
fun staff, very good pay, work is quite easy
stand for long periods, poor management in some areas
Brilliant place to work . Very educated and aware core team from engineering , quality manufacturing, line leads and supervisors . Helpful and experienced permanent staff on the floor also . No issues except one person ( there is always one in every work place ) would repeatedly ignore social distancing and abuse the kindness of fellow workers and take almost 2 hour long breaks regularly . It was disheartening to see the blaytent abuse of the system during the pandemic and in such a critical location to the ventaltors . But karma came around and fixed that . Other than that one person the best factory i have worked in by far .
Free coffee, approachable core teams and management
One person dragging th rest down and not respecting social distancing and not working, abusing breaks and kindness of fellow co-workers.

It’s more guaranteed to be an assembler there than production Operator. Everything has to be correct by sop and passed through a qa to verify the product will conform for release.
Plenty of hours
Should have more training to prevent Non Conformance Reports
If you are a contract staff then you get treated differently than permanent staff. You have no rights, and very little privileges and your contract can be terminated at any time without warning. Some Supervisors take advantage of you because they know you can be let go at anytime. If they don't like you then you they will make you live in fear of them.
You get bullied as contract staff, supervisors and mangers really use their powers to gt rid of you.
Depending on the building you decide to work in you have the option of doing focus oriented work with small needles and microscopes, or fast paced working in packaging, or handling chemicals or doing very laid back assembly work with a lot of down time. The focus oriented and chemical handling buildings are the highest paid. Its a medical manufacturing company so its very clean, literally has clean rooms where you are required to wear hair nets, long sleeved gowns, gloves and shoe protectors, beard guards for men. It's a very diverse place to work, I met people from all over the world. This job definitely has culture. Its great I enjoyed every day on the job! Work hard to get your name known by lots of team leads so you can enjoy the benefits of lots and lots overtime! With time and a half pay and double time.
You will have lots of job options!
You will start as a temp through Kelly services.
What I learn at my job is Syringe filling I try my best every day. The hardest part is trying to writes nice and need on the papers work each day, when recording the daily job production. The most enjoyable part of the job, it keep me busy through time flows faster every day.
Free lunch on holiday
paid breaks is good
I was here for a couple months as I needed 1,500 quick. I didn’t like the job from the start. Boring, no room for improvement. No life outside of this job. No time for school or anything after work as the hours are from 5am-3:15. No parking on company property, must take shuttle van to and from parking.
Free food sometimes
Quality Training and Opportunities for advancement. Flexible Shifts, suitable for Family needs Great Team Works Good Welfare packages and opportunties
Great Company, People, Salary. Issue-Music. It is a noisy workplace and the music (loud radio) itself becomes the major source of noise exposure in the workplace. The speakers should be individually controllable- switched off. Some noise (eg music) may cause a particular nuisance and increase an individual’s stress. It is nor fair that all employees should listen to it. We are all with different moods, taste and requiring different amount of quietness and silence.
