Pros: Great patients-first mission that all align toWicked smart employees and leadersDecent pay and growth Good brand name for resume Strong and diversified product portfolio (smart strategies)Cons: Out of control high politics. Politics has grown tremendously the past 6y as the company doubled in size. Much more cutthroat- especially in Minneapolis.No work-life balance- run lean and hide bonus OT project works as "growth development opportunities"- it's very very normal to work 50hr+/wk at salaried levels (all), and 60+ in Dir+ roles. Company has changed a lot in top ranks- definitely not as warm and familial as it used to be. Sub cultures vary greatly- certain functions/businesses/regions are much healthier than others- some are in a great spot and some are toxic.Used to be more best-in-class in pay and benefits packages, now just overall "competitive"
