Must agree with those that mention that overall has gone downhill since becoming MDT. Flex work schedule has been good, and there are some great managers and people to work with, but unfortunately that remains the highest point these days.
W/L balance, benefits, paid holidays
No sense of value of long time employees, process & program changes with negative impact
If you are working in the diabetes department, you are in for a ride. You will deal with frustrated customers often due to orders always shipping out late or products being on back order. A lot of micromanagement especially if you do your job well. They will give you most of the new tasks and still expect you to be on phones throughout your whole shift. You will also do some admirative, account management work which are not in your title. Management is a mess and if you're POC prepare for some microaggression. Every trimester you will work until 8pm no choice. They reinforce the "were family" but favoritism is definitely present and training is VERY poor and not updated. Get the experience you need then get out!
nice cafeteria, break room and gym
long hours, poor management, micromanagement
Save yourself and do not apply here. Pay is not worth the job at all. Work load is constantly added and the phones will never stops ringing. Management is a joke while the whole team gossips about each other. Your promotion is strictly based off favoritism.

No work-life balance and equity, very stressful place to work. They make it uncomfortable for a person to take sick leave or any leave. They micro manage and address people poorly and when you leave they will give bad reference to block your future endeavors.
No work-life balance
The team managers at Medtronic are extremely supportive and encourage people to strive and develop their skills to the best of their ability.Staff are extremely welcoming and the seniors or staff who are training you will go at your pace and will make sure you are confident with what you have been taught before moving on to the next objective. They are very passionate at keeping the team spirit alive and have regular team lunches which consists of 30 minutes extra lunch and usually out of the premises so it is more laid back than usual. The inbound calls come in thick and fast but there is always someone around to assist you should you come into any difficulty. The best part of the job is ending the day knowing that you have made a massive difference to all areas of the NHS and that your hard work never goes unnoticed.
Lunch allowance, support by everyone, encouragement and constant personal development opportunities.
Sometimes think about returning. Love workin ? From home. The cafe was awesome. A lot to learn. Lot of training. Must learn quickly. Cubicle privacy
Work from home doing the holidays

It’s a revolving door at this company. They expect you to bust your butt and bend over backwards for them however, they’re not going to pay you for it. Even if you’re a top performer and employee of the month constantly they will make it so you’re not able to choose to go to school and work the same time because they’re not willing to be flexible with your life needs. There was people that had been there 20years that were let go from the position over going to be about issues with supervisors favouring people and all the drama going on. Their raises are only ever .05 cents or something small even if you exceed all your goals. The company now changed policies about needing a degree in everything to move up and it’s all political if you even qualify with a degree. They also don’t care how long you have been with the company when it comes to considering you for a position, you’re work performance and your skills mean nothing unless you have a degree, even if your degree has nothing to do with the position your applying for. It’s insane.
They provided ample training. It us very strict . They tolerate no latenesses and you have to be on head set and ready when not on break. The had some strong managers and a few that were in over their head . Overall it's a good solid company.
No room to grow, your jobs are outsourced to India. Systems constantly down. Unable to use the bathroom without getting written up. You are not allowed to miss any calls or you can loose your job. Management is very rude and nasty. You are unable to use your PTO time even when requesting months ahead of time.
