Benefit package and pay is tempting, but don’t. Worst career decision of my 22 years. Plan on 50-60 hours a week on salary and dealing with extreme favoritism in the workplace.

Absolutely loved working at Medtronic. My manager and team were great to work for and with. Patient interaction allowed for me to continue to use nursing care and compassion. Level of job complexity made the experience exciting and fulfilling. If it weren't for extensive Monday- Thursday travel I would still be there.

Management had been poor, do not try to understand the employees. It is more of forced and unsupported decisions which eventually hurts the company as well as the employees to do their work. There is no onsite, work culture is too stress full. There are hardly any encouragement or motivation to work here but the culture outside India had been quite good as heard from others. Employees are not happy with the way managers are treating, over the years the attrition had been high. We had lost good talents to other competitors. There are hardly any recognitions for the employees as always we get to hear that this is part of your job role unless you are a favourite of your boss. Management treats their leads and managers as their pets and cream of the company which is actually not in most of the cases. In fact, they act as a catalyst to hinder progress and cause stress and demotivation to the employees. Salary paid is good and many are stuck due to this unless one day they realize they are no longer worth and forced to quit with negative ratings of performance.

Medtronic Care Management Services is a small division within greater Medtronic providing remote patient monitoring services. Since it's acquisition by Medtronic, there has been little forward progress in streamlining and merging with the larger Medtronic mission, strategies, and tools. There is an overall culture of status quo and paralyzing attitudes hindering company evolution and growth. Recent work force reduction in response to large contract completion has led to a chaotic and disjointed working environment making it difficult to complete job duties and effectively service clients. This has also led to an environment where all employees are overloaded with tasks outside their job function thus a general sense of burnout.

Good company especially if you want to fast track your career. Great benefits. Further up the ladder=more hours, more meetings, more travel. Great benefits multiple bonus programs.

I was a contractor for a web migration and was really enjoying working remotely for the company. Once the project was over I was really hoping that I would be moved to another project since I worked very effectively and tackled deadlines and the boss of the project was impressed with me. Sadly was told that they don't move contractors to different projects and my time with the company was slowly comping to an end. If I ever had the chance to work for Medtronic again I would do so in a heartbeat!
