Nothing much to say though I would high recommended anyone who wish to work at MEDTRONIC to do it without a second thought. It takes care of the employees as necessary.
Gifts and incentives are offered at times. Benefits are also available.
Shorter breaks and long working durations as a contractor before being confirmed by MEDTRONIC.
I got employed at Medtronic since November 28, 2015. Medtronic is a friendly work environment area. Stress free, clean work environment, with quality jobs done there at.

A career at Medtronic is like no other. Very purposeful, committed and driven by our Mission to alleviate pain, restore health and extend life for millions of people worldwide. Just knowing I was a part of something bigger than myself gave me a sense of purpose. it was a unique opportunity. I worked as an industrial engineer intern as I was the only one chosen from my masters program to continue a project we were doing. I was really into the project as it comes natural to me to help improve business process and give new ideas
I like to work there. The coworkers there are nice and friendly. I have experienced many different roles there and applied what I learned from school. People and my manager provided me a lot of support on projects. I was also getting through training on Lean and six sigma.
I recommend medtronic to anyone who want to join.its a good place to work.you won't regret.good employer and employee relationships, good schedule and working environment.
I was stuck in one area and other people got moved around and knew several different areas. I was extremely bored. I learned about cathetors and how critical they can save a persons life. Not fair for everyone.
There were significant cost pressures due to overspending, which was leading to mass layoffs. This seems like a trend with Medtronic, where they hire a lot of people and then overspend and then have to fire a bunch of people. This created a very political climate where people would blame others for issues and undercut their work so that they wouldn't be the one on the chopping block. Also overtime and working on the weekend was expected. I understand the company is very large and maybe not all groups operated this way, but the one I was in did. I would be very careful about expectations and group dynamics before I accepted a position at Medtronic.
The job was easy. Working hours were okay too, I worked from 2-10 pm shift. The management is horrible, no job opportunities or advancement at all. There’s a lot of favoritism, line leads abuse and harass you if your not a favorite. If you try to talk to the HR about about the unfair treatment... be ready for retaliation. It is not a good place to work at.
Medtronic is a fun and hard working place to work, staff willing to hear you out help you with and question you have. lot of new thing seeing everyday.
Free lunches doing overtime or if we keeps geting our goal.
Healthcare, alittle long breaks.
