If you are working in the diabetes department, you are in for a ride. You will deal with frustrated customers often due to orders always shipping out late or products being on back order. A lot of micromanagement especially if you do your job well. They will give you most of the new tasks and still expect you to be on phones throughout your whole shift. You will also do some admirative, account management work which are not in your title. Management is a mess and if you're POC prepare for some microaggression. Every trimester you will work until 8pm no choice. They reinforce the "were family" but favoritism is definitely present and training is VERY poor and not updated. Get the experience you need then get out!

The best place to work

Has an amazing experience working, unfortunately it was on contract with no available opportunities to move into a permanent role. Would highly recommend working here to anyone I know!

Productive and fun place to work. The people I worked with were very professional and helpful. Overall my time working at Medtronic was very enjoyable and I learned you have to be very quick minded while working in a fast pace environment.

Great place to work. Work-life balance. Great training.Excellent culture. Clean and bright office. Managers are very flexible.There is a cafeteria and gym on site which is very convenient.

Is a great work place

Medtronic is a great workplace with a nice working culture. Company believes in is own Mission Statement and they put always people first. Management team are doing great job.

It was ok

Company in general is amazing love the culture, lots of free lunches, gym on site. They are family oriented however, the only downfall is that the advancement process takes too long and management in the consumer care department is terrible. Triangle friendships, manager is close friends with the supervisor. Also, surpervisor is a family member with another employee within the department. Lots of lies and gossip and protects the toxic. Would recommend any other department but NEVER consumer care. In addition, a lot of favoritism so with all honesty they will provide an advancement to someone who is lesser experienced than you

Not much to say except that chances for advancement are low. It is almost impossible to get promoted no matter what your level is. There is a culture of I saw nothing and heard nothing, even when things are so wrong.

Nice and friendly colleauges

medtronic customer service is a call center environment. Management is not organized but the staff is hard working and friendly group of people and they keep the company going.

Fascinating journey

I enjoyed almost 8 years of assisting with continuous improvements, however; we have been undergoing a multi-billion merger that is over three years in the making and it has resulted in the department looking more like a broker firm than a customer service department so I will be looking starting September 18th 2018 for an opportunity to help, with my set of skills and experience, a company with solid standard operating procedures and reliable management software.

Processing daily orders. I learned how to manage stress in critical situations. I also learnt negotiation with customers. Management always consider the value of the employees. We have a very good relationship and friendly work environment. Teamwork, customer oriented, fast paste are words that define the culture of the work.

Toxic

Don't waste you time, high turn over, management and HR are bullies. Stab each other in the back environment. They talk about growth but never give any trading because fir one excuse or another trainer is never there! All the good people have left and you know the type that stay. They then get higher roles remaining unproductive as usual forcing work loads on the ones that actually work....do yourself a favour fined a company that truly respects their employees and that are not two faced about it!
