I’ve been working at Medtronic in Brooklyn Center for three years now and everything about the company is great good benefits kind hearted employees but the only thing I’ll say is the work life balance we’re doing massive Overtime on the weekends Saturday sometimes Sunday pay is great but we need a life outside of work to
Good schedule for those people who love to work 10 hours a day and enjoy rest 3 days off that is (fri, sat, and sun) on the production floor. Good multicultural environment. Great benefits.
Enough breaks, exercise for production team, good over-time
No place for advancement

Processes, and work flow are structured so it's a good place to work in.. not sure about now, as since I've left for some yrs, things have changed.Overall, being able to alleviate pain to help patients is the best tagline and I will always remember.
Good staff benefits

Emploi chez Medtronic
OverallThrough the years ,I've work at Medtronic. I have learned a lot of different skills. I take pride in my work. I always seek to improve the process required in my position. I am willing to train anyone who need it.i feel i am asset to learn more to add to my abilities.
Great company, great opportunities to learn and the quality system gives me confidence in the product that goes out the door each day. Culture is not perfect as people are not perfect, but there are mostly smart and talented people globally.
great products that help people
too many layoffs (as well as constant rumors of more that are coming)
I worked in supply chain management for a little over 3 years at Medtronic. During the application process the hiring managers already mentioned the company culture & politics can be tough to adapt to.Never was i prepared for the amount of nepotism within the company though. People are rewarded and promoted on the amount of heel licking rather than performance. I saw 2 non performing managers get promoted to a cushy seat, seemingly purely because they liked to play golf. Even though pay is good, operationally people are demotivated and it feels a little like a revolving door. The good ones that realize money is not everything leave, the mediocre ones stay. Advice; good for inexperienced starters, for those that prefer money over the working environment. Anyone with aspirations, hopes or dreams are probably better off somewhere else.
Company started with higher bonus structure but just before Covid it was restructured and probably will not go back up. Was also promised a cost of living increase which never happened. Otherwise they are more patient and employee focused than on the sales number which is the mark of a good company.
Weekend and evening call
Work-life balanceThey show favoritism and managers are messy. Abraham is not good to people neither is gywnn smith. Those white folks only care about themselves up therePay & benefitsIt wasn’t enough doing multiple jobsManagementThey show favoritism and only care about the workCultureTerrible and if you pregnant they really gonna fire youOverallThey show favoritism, slick racist to blacks, they hate pregnant women no sympathy for them, pay is not enough. They just not how they set out to be .
