If you’re anything under management it’ll be a rough road it’s difficult to move up and you’re not paid fairly at all and they want you to do a lot of work and projects and maybe you’ll get a 50 cent raise it’s not a good place unless you’re an engineer or something high up in medical
Lunches some times
Stress, not enough pay, hard to advance
Medtronic is well-known for hiring you, using your earnest work and talents, then dumping you as soon as their current need is done. Watch your back------ long-term (25 yrs. +) and short-term 1 yr. and everything in-between were recently canned in moves to "right size" due to current market conditions---though this reduction in force has been planned for a few years, it was blamed on covid.
Medtronic is an amazing company to be a part of. The Mission driven culture has deep impact on the experience of working at Medtronic. There’s real commitment to employee development, diversity and culture beyond most companies.
Some positives about Medtronic are the benefits and selling a product that helps people live better lives. You also have decent compensation. Senior leadership is trying to make company culture a focus and ensuring that employees are taken care of, but haven’t seen much of a change yet. Overall it’s a decent company to work for.

Bad for no-degree employees. Culture is geared to young professionals.Management does not support their employees when it comes to missed deadlines and mistakes.
Working for Medtronic was mostly good. There was plenty of work to do and I was treated fairly but I felt like it was a typical large-company situation where the individual employee is a cog in the machine and management is mostly guided by metrics rather than recognition of the employee's efforts outside of the metrics, which are intangible.
Generous bonus, mostly decent benefits
Es una buena empresa, si existe posibilidad de crecimiento, si mantienes un buen kardex.
Atencion medica dentro de la empresa, oportunidades de crecimiento, entrega de vale navideño y pavo

Great place to work, solid management, serious environment in the sense of making sure work is getting done at or above expectations both per-shift and per-employee, but also allows employees to listen to music or other audio on their phones (non headphones), and allows talking while working as long as work is still being focused on.
Laid back workplace
Occasional mandatory OT
I worked for Medtronic for about a year as a temp and I felt so comfortable there. Everyone was so close, you could ask questions without getting reprimanded, and the employee engagement and community was so close. I was also asked to run the company bowling league even though I was not a full time employee. It was a mistake for me to leave that company.
Friendly staff, professional management, employee engagement.
Medtronic is always out there saying what a great company to work for, but that is not the truth. I’ve finally decided to leave the company after many many years with Medtronic. The company has really gone downhill. I’ve been in my role just over a year and I’m on my 4th manager/director to report to. People don’t stay. Good pay but when you work until midnight the pay isn’t worth it. Great place for young professionals to start at but you will want to get out at some point. Absolutely no work like balance even though they say they do.
Free coffee, good benefits, good pay
Absolutely no work/life balance, leadership is questionable, cut-throat environment
Nothing much to say though I would high recommended anyone who wish to work at MEDTRONIC to do it without a second thought. It takes care of the employees as necessary.
Gifts and incentives are offered at times. Benefits are also available.
Shorter breaks and long working durations as a contractor before being confirmed by MEDTRONIC.
Save yourself and do not apply here. Pay is not worth the job at all. Work load is constantly added and the phones will never stops ringing. Management is a joke while the whole team gossips about each other. Your promotion is strictly based off favoritism.
The Boulder, Colorado plant is in rapid decline, and workers are being pushed to produce more to help their managers retain a job, while at the same time workers are being laid off in droves.
Good health benefits, several options.
12 hour shifts, no frontline advancement.
No job security ,management can decide anything. Most of the managers in the team are not technical person just people managers. No training would be available internal or external.
