Am still with them at the moment. So i beg to reserve my comments. MEDTRONIC is a great place to work. It cannot be the best place either. Every company differs. So as it is everyone cannot be an employee of MEDTRONIC. I work in (Switzerland Manufacturing operations)
25minutes tea break free. And 45 lunch or dinner break, it depends on the shift
Everyone I've worked with are very nice people. Training was good. Management and workplace overall was good. Can sometimes become stressful since it can be a fast-paced environment.
Can sometimes be stressful
Worked as a temporary employee there for 6 months and learned right away. It was kind of stressful learning new things but everyone there is very supportive and motivated. Especially from management, management was also very encouraging and up lifting. Id recommend it to someone who wants something that like repetitive and doing the same things over and over again.
Free coffee/Tea/Shirts/Company caters food on holidays
Have to be fast at what you do.
There are times when coming into a 12 hour shift that you will find yourself walking into a room full of machines that are down. There is not a single thing you can do about it, especially for night shift, most of the time there won't be an engineer who can bring the tools up. Also, you are not atleast compensated for sitting in a room full of whirring tools for 12 hours, instead you are welcomed with "work" they find for you, such as things that are not within your job scope or trained to do. Or, you can use your personal paid time to leave through your manager, or better yet, if you're a contractor you leave without pay. Sure, a night or two occasionally is fine, but several weeks consisting of a few actual work nights gets very tiresome. Sometimes sacrificing some pay or personal time keeps you sane. Sitting under bright white lights, with lots of white noise and at night time gets old quick. The other kicker is when you finally get through a slow shift, you may be (what feels like) interrogated by your team lead or someone else of authority as to why you didn't run the tools. Or, if a tool is having issues but you are debating whether to put it down (because the lack of communication between engineers, supervisors and team leads) the operators catch the heat, since they were told one thing by someone and another by someone else. Sometimes, no matter what decision you make, whether to put the tool down or not depending on the circumstance, you will catch the heat.

Really enjoy to work for Medtronic, I learn a lot. I got the opportunity without experience in the field. Low opportunity to grow. Many overtime, short breaks and 30 minutes for lunch.
Great pay and benefits but I couldn’t work Saturdays anymore . People are okay but they don’t mind their own business, lots of people reporting about other people taking long breaks
Nothing much to say though I would high recommended anyone who wish to work at MEDTRONIC to do it without a second thought. It takes care of the employees as necessary.
Gifts and incentives are offered at times. Benefits are also available.
Shorter breaks and long working durations as a contractor before being confirmed by MEDTRONIC.
I’ve been working at Medtronic in Brooklyn Center for three years now and everything about the company is great good benefits kind hearted employees but the only thing I’ll say is the work life balance we’re doing massive Overtime on the weekends Saturday sometimes Sunday pay is great but we need a life outside of work to
Work-life balanceWork-life balance at Medtronic is normal.Pay & benefitsMy pay and benefits at Medtronic are great.OverallMy experience working at Medtronic simple, fun, stress free.
You work your 40 weekly hours and get paid, that's basically it. Environment depends on which medtronic you work on but mine had a very strong high school mentality.
Get paid every friday, benefits, rotations between standing and sitting
Exhausting, not enough pay, strange ethics
I'm based in manufacturing facility in Singapore. Unprofessional working environment, no carrier advancement. A Company without vision, only concern is maney making. The superior are terrible people
No vision, poor management, no carrier advancement, racism, partiality, favour
La recomiendo para empesar en el area de manufactura luego empezar a buscar en otro lado
Contratan sin experiencia previa
Paga baja poca oportunidad de crecimiento
