If one delivers to his promise, then you are left in peace. However, to achieve this is challenging but, at the same time - at least in my case - satisfying though. Ultimately it depends to one him-/herself by finding ways to contribute to the overall success, be it internally or helping the customers in their business. The team culture is very collaborative as everyone understands his role in the team. And the Swiss leadership team is most appreciated. Yes there were some hard times couple of years ago and if someone would have asked me then, my review would have been completely different one. HP however did manage the turnaround and get back to its original values where it is understood, that the employees are making the money in the end. So, I can recommend this company for employment to anybody.

I started working at EDS, them it merged with HP. Few years after HP splited into HPI and HPE. I continued with HPE, then HPE has split again into 2 entities. Enterprise Services merged with CSC and becames DXC. So, to resume, that was great at the beginning but not at the end ...

Leider hat sich HP entschieden, sich vom Mainframe Business (und den Mitarbeitern) langsam aber sicher zu entledigen und sich auf die Drucker und Toner Produktion zurück zu besinnen. Wir wurden deshalb obsolet.

HP is a great company to work, and it has the DNA to survive in the technology revolution that we are living in.

Management shares plans and results with employees. The workload is reasonable and employees are provided with attainable goals. Employees are provided with state of the art tools, processes. There was plenty of interaction to change procedures and interact with management. I learned not to be complacent with one's self because the competitive market is always changing. Hardest thing - managing shrinking budgets. The most enjoyable part of the job was the team I worked in, they smart, hard-working and had a wonderful sense of humor.

Start the day with prayer. Then go to work with a positive attitude. Be friendly to all collages. Work safe to have no come backs. I learned to be in charge. I have a safety management certificate and will help my co-workers to stay positive. The hardest part of my job was to design for production. The most enjoyable part of the job is to had a day without any accidents.

Flexible Arbeitszeiten sind positiv zu bewerten. Die IT Branche steht unter grossem finanziellen Druck. Ressourcen aus der Schweiz werden in billig Lohn Länder abgetreten. Die Firma ist stetig im Wandel ausgesetzt und man weiss nie wohin die Reise geht. Eigentlich interessant und herausfordernd aber die Jobsicherheit leidet sehr darunter. Tägliche Konferenz Gespräche im Internationalen Umfeld. Man lernt viele internationale Mitarbeiter kennen und schätzen aus denen auch echte Freundschaften entstehen.

Hewlett Packard Meyrin offre à ses employés un environnement agréable, une cafétéria et un parking gratuit. tout est fait pour que l employé se sente bien. Le management nous donnait la possibilité de nous former afin d améliorer nos performances. les collaborateurs travaillent dans une bonne entente. Dans mon service tout le monde se sentait bien et les managers bien que loin de Genève communiquaient souvent avec nous et nous demandaient si tout allait bien. La conjoncture mondiale a fait que HP a du se séparer de ses collaborateurs dans les pays les plus riches au profit de pays un peu moins cher car chacun sait que la masse salariale est une part importante dans le budget.
