Lacking professionalism, too much favoritism

If you’re looking for internal advancement, as stated when you’re hired, you’re at the wrong place. Favoritism rules. Seems that older ppl are pushed aside for younger ppl. HR is supposed to be a go to for assistance. Often times they are not available and when they are , are rude and hurt your feelings

Bad work culture, hostile work environment

Leadership lacks integrity, honor and compassion to their subordinates. Its a culture of no organization except to cover each others mistake including human resources personnel.

Great management

Great place to work, wonderful benefits, great communication. Always learning, good training. Employees are very much appreciated. Profit sharing is great

Fast paced

Time flies, sometimes there’s downtime but just look for something to do. Coworkers and management are nice. Quality checks are now on tablets so less paperwork.

Can make a lot of money

Able to learn and work as much as you would like to. They do tend to give the good workers more to do, which I understand. They know you'll get the job done. Sometimes if you're trained in a lot of places you will be moving a lot but you can work more so it works out. The promotion process is not good though. They promote buddies instead of qualified people. There are leads there that shouldn't even have a job let alone be a lead.

Decent

Your six days a week 7 days for 3 months and if you a new person starting there just assume you will never see your home again the managers are completely oblivious to anything going on and only step in when I higher management say something and HR there basically runs the plant you can’t have any personal issues come up or even planned pto it’s impossible to get it there always understaffed so you get thrown around each day and most of the time there’s a call out to the next shift so the newest guy has to work for 12 hours and not just your 8 is great pay and wonderful if you have no life and plan on working there till you retire and save all your money honestly horrible place to work

Management is substandard!

If you’re unlucky enough to get a job here, you’ll have to work like a dog from start of shift to the end. And overtime is often mandatory.If you have a family, you’ll rarely see them, especially on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

not the worst place to work

few good people especially on my shift. management has little care for employee opinions. pay is excellent but theres just alot of overall decision making that begins with managment putting the cart before the horse.

Great pay

The pay is pretty good for this area but they own your soul. I’ve seen worse management. 6day work week sucks. The production part of the building is on 12 hour rotating schedule

Hp hood isnt a bad company

Hp Hood takes care of their people. With that being said the Arkport plant does not and is the most toxic work environment I have ever been apart of. If you aren’t a yes man and kiss the ground management walks on they will treat you like garbage. P.s if you aren’t already a friend or family member you’ll never progress in your career. Stand clear of this place!

Good money to pay you off for all the excessive overworking and stress you’ll go through

This company pays good. However the company keeps expanding but not expanding their employees properly to keep up with the work. Constantly understaffed, underappreciated, overworked, stressed and not heard. They may ask you what need a change or to be better...you tell them and normally nothing changes or comes from it. Each department is different but the common thing across all that you'll hear is stressed, overworked and over it.

pays the bills

HR manager is the worst I have ever encountered at any employer. They talk about employees problems in front of other employees, very inconsistant with policies. they should get corporate out there to talk with people. Managers have no idea what they are doing.totally disconnected from the floor.

Decent pay to start, management doesn't care

Pay-to-skill ratio is way off between departments. Being crossed-trained, any type of learning, or working harder is not incentivised in any fashion. Management shows no concern for their employees. Beyond those 2 major factors, the employees are all pretty relaxed, sociable, and kind. The pay is decent, but there are no raises at all.

Terrible

Management is horrible, they don’t pay you enough for the clerk position, You are constantly dealing with bosses that have no clue what’s going on, and annoying truck drivers. Management does not care what’s so ever about the clerks

Great place

Was an intern, great learning experience and people to work with. Although it was a remote work environment, manager and other team members took the effort to integrate me with the department

Pays not bad but you dnt get yearly raises and new employees make 50 cents less than a 2 yr employee.

There is favoritism.you have to fight for time off that u earned.managers have no clue how to run a production floor.their attemdance point system is a joke.even if u bring in a dr note they still give you points.i would not recommend working here for anyone if u want to be happy at work

Worst management team ever put together

HR was the worst I've ever worked with or heard out. Management only thought of us as numbers and were forced to 6 - 7 day a week work weeks . Every holiday season was 7 days and must were 12 hour shifts and we were ridiculed for calling out and never given comp days even working 80 plus hour work weeks. We were under staffed my whole time there also and were always promised things and never received.

Great co workers. Team oriented.

Good pay for the job. Great Co-workers. Ability to advance quickly. They really like to promote from within the company some co workers become coordinators within a short amount of time.

If you like never having a life this is the place for you… and after you have missed family event after event you will realize you are a number to them and a number only. The company talks a nice game with “ core values” and “ we are a family” but I put my heart into that place and it’s a watch your back environment. With upper management in place it will always be a negative place to work with the feeling anyone could be stabbing your back from any angle

Work/Life Balance is hard

12 Hour shifts, feels like one whole work week on and one work week off. Stressful work schedules and horrible communication through management. Pay is not worth the stress

Not as good as it seemed

The money is good, production floor employees are kind.Those are the only two good things about this job.Health insurance is high deductible, favoritism at its worst, no work/life balance, high turnover rate, management is only nice to you in your first 2 months then they stop treating you like a human.Don't do it to yourself,
