Nice company

Lovely company to work for however if you don’t stay a 1 year they will take “training cost” from you, amount is depending on how long you work for them, but I literally did three weeks online training at home on my own laptop.. so I don’t believe they can justify this. But otherwise lovely company to work for.

I interned here not too long ago, and one of the things I really loved about Dermalogica was the culture. Everyone is so kind here and always happy to help. I would definitely work here again if given the opportunity.

What is the best part of working at the company? Coworkers were cool. The product allowance. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The training is REALLY lacking. You’re thrown on the phones without knowing ALOT. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It’s decent. The office is really nice. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Answering calls all day. Don’t get to take part in the emails or chats as they have teams for that. Definitely would’ve rather be doing those things as it would be FAR less stressful and you get the same pay for em :/.

If you would like to start with this company I would say please double think, I have worked for this company for about 4 years , many micromanagers , they are sarcastic, intimidating and enjoy harassment employees They make you insecure every single day, they have unsecluded admin that make you more frustrated , this company never employe people to be part of company unless you are their managers friend or favorite , so you can’t get promotion unless to be friend or family of the managers , they have many employees to leave every year and they are always in short staff. They will use you when they need you.you are just a number and they can replace you easily with someone else , no appropriation for hard working , managers will drop you down when they don’t need you. Many apps to use and with their education they expect you to be expert in IT and you feel like you are in school or university. Frustrating everyday with training and education.

-Toxic leadership. -Wrong employees promoted. -Don't fix issues. They celebrate finding ways to manage issues. -Poor raise/promotion practices. -Shady HR practices. -They don't welcome new ideas or new ways of thinking. -Stuck in antiquated ways and practices.

Nice salary but very stressful context

I was required to sell a lot, the ambient was quite negative. Not all the colleagues were nice and the manager was quite judging instead of helpful. It’s a nice experience but I won’t continue with it.

I had a lot off training and the company really sticks to their core values. I have a lot of freedom in my schedule to produce results. Targets are a little high, but they have given me lots of support.

Restructure damaged the company

i used to be proud to work for Dermalogica but since the restructure in 2019 things have gone downhill. The sales manager has left but I don’t know if it’s too late to repair the damage. Lots of amazing staff members left. No clear structure from management, last minute offers make us look desperate. Around £7k underpaid compared to the rest of the industry and this year commissions have been impossible to hit. Very unsettled environment at the moment

Une très belle marque avec une philosophie et un héritage incroyable portés par une belle équipe. On évolue dans une atmosphère où règne performance, développement, épanouissement et bien-être. La filiale a été créée il y a 5 ans donc c'est certain qu'il y a des attentes et une exigence importante. Et les challenges à relever ne correspondent pas à certaines personnes qui préfèrent quand la route est toute droite. On évolue dans un esprit entrepreneurial donc il faut aimer les pages blanches, tester et pivoter. Ce qui est top c'est que cela se fait avec autonomie, liberté d'action et d'entreprendre, et surtout avec transparence et bienveillance. On sait que l'on dépend des uns et des autres et que l'on peut compter sur chacun. On sait aussi pourquoi on vient chez Dermalogica : se développer et construire ensemble autour d'une marque qui donne du sens.

Travailler chez Dermalogica France c'est suivre une équipe ambitieuse et motivée. L'investissement de chacun est manifeste. La volonté de participer à développer la marque vient naturellement. L'équipe managériale s'inscrit dans une écoute active et met en exergue les petits et grands succès tout en rappelant qu'affronter certains obstacles permet d'évoluer. Toutes les semaines ne se ressemblent pas et l'apprentissage professionnel (personnel) va de soi.

La marque, les avantages entreprise ! J'ai le sentiment d'avoir une réelle valeur ajoutée et me sens respectée.

Effectif en pleine croissance, loin d'être un inconvénient, l'organisation interne évolue progressivement, et ce, afin de répondre aux nouveaux besoins de scopes spécifiques.

I loved working at Dermalogica. I always was able to learn something new and to expand my wings. I worked with an amazing group of women who encouraged me and was never too busy to answer any questions as I was learning.

I was with Dermalogica as a Retail associate for almost 5 years. I love the company I love the education offered, it was a fun job. Until the new manager came and offered nothing but broken promises. Over worked and under paid, I had to leave. But was fun while it lasted! Soaked up all the benefits

Lack of management no clear direction

Manager only there for 2 months- new software programs they implemented for a short period of time and no clear training or on boarding for new employees - individual training had no experience with training and it was apparent. Perhaps may need to look into a more clear structure- purchasing department
