Audible has a well thought-out interview process with high standards. The good news is you'll be working with extraordinarily bright people who also a lot of fun to be around on a daily basis.The Cambridge office is special- it's an intimate group, somewhat shielded from the more corporate environment at the Newark, NJ headquarters. So while gaining the benefits of working for a massive corporation like Amazon, you can develop strong relationships with everybody who works there.

Any restriction on coming to the office is toxic to the culture, A lot of time is spent re-engineering systems, Managers are under stress to produce which can trickle down under ineffective SDMs

Productive place, fun working environment.

Awesome small to mid-size company. Offers great on-site benefits such as an awesome cafeteria, game room, entertainment room, etc. Great learning environment as well.

Dynamic Fast Paced place to work

Great Management. Interesting projects. My peers are teamwork oriented. This is a great place to work buit is fast paced. the hardest part of the job is managing the unexpected tasks like tickets, ad hoc requests etc... The most enjoyable is interacting with other SDEs to produce a solid product.

Great People and Culture

Great culture and atmosphere for employees. I was given the opportunity to work with some brilliant people. Although there is not much room for advancement especially for contractors. Overall the company is a great place to work, except for occasional management headaches.

Truly A Great Experience!

I loved working for Audible.com and I hope and pray I can be apart of their team there again. They are doing great things in the company and I can honestly say that this was one of the best jobs I have ever had. My boss was a pain at times, but whose isn't right? The hours were 9 to 5 and the pay was great, so I was never too tired to make it out to an outing with friends at night.

Small office culture with large corporate resources

Audible is a small fast-growing Amazon company. Working there is busy--there's always more to do than you feel like you can get done. People there are friendly, but the rapid growth has meant quite a bit of turnover, so it's not as close-knit as when I started there.

Audible.....

Audible is a really great company to work for. It is a small company that sells audiobooks online only. There are many available perks of the job. The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to interact with others in different departments that can educate you more on the company. My co-workers are the absolute best and I enjoy working with them.

Fun work environment, free lunches, ping-pong table in the cafeteria

Really great work environment, and people. Scheduler tries very hard to work around everyone's schedule and takes into consideration what hours people like to work. In house studios have two recording session blocks a day from 10am-4pm then from 4:30pm-10pm. Producers do an excellent job matching the acting talent to the book.

Great company and workflow.

Edit raw book audio to create a more flowing and contiguous feel. Quality control and communication with the engineer is key. Overall great experience.

Productive - Meetings - Hard working

Surrounded by a lot of hard working individuals. Your work day starts the minute you turn your cell phone on and check your email. You are working all day long and your day is very much filled with fire drills.
