Management promotes who they like & finds reasons to get rid of people they don't want.They will try to underpay you. Always push for more money or stocks.

poor management. stressful work place.

This company only cares about online ordering metrics. If you bring up concerns to management you end up getting fired for it and cannot ask for advice or proper procedures from assistant general managers because all they do is blame each other and talk behind each others' backs like high schoolers. There is no work life balance for this job. Everything in this company is always changing and if you aren't up for change this isn't the job for you. You will never receive one right answer for a procedure because everyone does not follow the same polices/procedures.

Interesting job with growth opportunities

Very nice place to work. It was kind of slow at times but great coworkers made it fun during downtime. I learned a lot about leadership and was promoted twice.

Worked here for a short while

It was fine. Compensation was better than most places. The training was fairly easy. They also seem to be more organized than most places. It helped pay the bills.

Productive and fun place to work at

I was completely satisfied with my job but unfortunately Amazon announced they were closing all of the physical stores. Amazon was so professional at handling the closures, I’m glad I got to experience such a great environment.

Productive & Fun

My team was always supportive and caring, our area manager was a little more difficult to get along/ get support from when he was around, but overall I had a good experience and was always treated with respect. I only don't work there anymore, because they shut down retail stores, but I enjoyed my time there.

Worst place I've ever worked at.

Managers are non-existent. Training was slow and horrible, spent hours "online training" only to not need any of it. Store is a mess, don't expect anyone to know where anything is. Co-workers were not helpful at all, expect the least from them. In other words, take control while you're here. Was almost assaulted in the back of the store by a homeless man.

Easy place to work overall

decent pay and great benefits. Every day is pretty much the same. The hardest part of the job is going into the freezer for long periods of time and when it is busy. The most enjoyable part is just having a flexible schedule. It is a good job for someone who has school or other obligations.

Expect employees to work fast & efficient with poorly executed tools and plans that make this an impossibility. For the most part, employees are beaten down and exhausted, low morale, being crushed by this

Easy place to work at and is fast-paced. However, freezer/fridge work is overwhelming.

A typical day involves stocking and receiving product while also helping customers in-store. The work is easy but being in the fridge/freezer for hours is not fun

Not the best place to work

The absolute worst company to work for. Started here during covid and followed zero regulations and the management was terribly unhelpful and strict. My team and I did our jobs correctly to the tee but the management always had something to say and would often call one of us in per shift to yell at us even though we were helping out other departments because we finished our duties early. DO NOT WORK HERE.

Could be better

There was not much room for career advancement and very little schedules available for part time. Very strict on pick times and stowing. I liked how they began to randomize which area you would be starting at, instead of picking the easiest like ambient.

Productive

It’s alright, be aware cause they will overwork you sometimes. Sometimes you’re the fastest person there so orders that need to go out immediately they will always ask you to do it on top of all the other orders you have to do.

Not bad as a first job

Inconsistent schedule, You feel like a programed robot, Very monotonous. It’s very tiring walking all day. The only good thing about working there is that if you want to advance in the company you can.

Its ok

It's a job. I liked it but underpaid for sure in compared to other stores. Leads had very little experience. Employee discounts was not good. The store is good. Clean ..

Lack communication need to interview people people before hiring them.

I find there’s no balance in this company they go from one extreme to the next. When you need help with Human Resources or payroll issues you get very little help. I had to fight for pay that was due to me in January two months later I finally got it in two separate weeks. This could be a great company but it needs to make some changes from the top on down. Benefits are great.

Require employees to work at a very fast pace

They really want you to work at a very fast pace but it’s not very easy when there’s climbing ladders and shopping in very cold temperatures. You click in and out and get a 30 minute lunch break. I found the staff very supportive and unsmderstanding.

Not what I expected

Poor management. Lack of communication. Still a new concept so there is quite a bit of chaos and confusion.. no respect. They will hire anyone so there is alot of turnover and young kids who do not want to work

Interesting and fun workplace

A great place to learn and advance your career. Lots of down time but you can find things to do. The store was in a great location. Had interesting coworkers and management

Overwork

You never have time to catch a breather. Always keeping track of where you are what you are doing and always trying to find ways to terminate you. You can’t ever have an emergency with UPT without HR creating a case to terminate or keep.

Good and Bad aspects

I didn't last long as it became too physical for me. Most of the time, it was fine, but if you were unlucky to get assigned to pick too many too heavy items in a shift, you can develop back problems.

You are watched, timed and penalized for conditions you often meet and can not control.
