Had fun working for flex. Lot of opportunities for advancement if you want. You will work hard for the money. Lot of VtOs are offered when no work. Paid time off and vacation hours are okay.

Car damage is not worth the money unless there is a surge.

If you are not getting a surge then you will not be able to truly make money unless you are working overtime. The damage to your car will make the 18 dollar an hour average goes down to 13 after the gas is included.

The company gets away with A LOT hidden under "independent contract" work

This applies to package AND food delivery. This is meant to be objective and based on multiple experiences.Pro-You are paid twice a week. Cons-You are overloaded with packages.-It is not possible to deliver in time allotted if there are any issues with the app or traffic. -Delivery zones are in strange areas and not always proximate to one another. You might have zero bars in the area and be stuck.-You have to pay tolls.-App navigation lags and will not let drivers override steps to continue delivery. Therefore, you might be stuck wasting time until YOU figure it out. Calling support is only good if you have a simple question.-Driver support takes too much time "verifying" and repeating. They have no agency to address issues quickly or trained for resolutions inn real time.-Working past the hours does not automatically pay you extra. You have to email and they are adversarial, i.e. your fault for not driving fast enough.-Wear and tear on vehicle, fuel refillEven after a long list of cons, the market is saturated. It is difficult to get shifts and therefore unreliable income.

Horrible place to work

We get overloaded with parcels. Expect 260+ parcels and 180+ stops a day. Not worth the money. Management in the warehouse couldn’t care less about you.

Las distamcias de entrega son extremadamente largas. No pagan el millage . Solo pagan el tiempo en carretera, que a decir verdad es muy limitado.

Not Good

I was one of the first driving groups of independent contractors for flex that started when they opened the Los Angeles area. It's very disorganized management does it give a hoot about anything other than you delivering your packages fast. There's so many problems with being a flex driver it's not even worth it. As for job security you could lose your contract at any time for any reason and that's it. And it's very hard to get driving shifts with them because they have way too many drivers

Difficult to find a route

It took me a year to finally get the job since I was waitlisted but then it took me a few days to find a route. At first, they had many jobs but lately where I live there isnt many anymore and its just scraps and even then I cant get the job on time. If you live around LA or San Bernardino area it will be difficult to get a route ever since they started adding corona and it seems impossible to get a route.

Easy hiring process,

Easy job if you have Initiative.Flex workers schedule are available on the a-z app. Most of the time there are no hours Available. It's like a rat race to get more hours.😡, no dental or vision coverage. The hourly pay should be more. It also seems that supervises don't pass information down to subordinate or up the chain of command. That's a big problem for me being an ex military. It'll get you in the door with Amazon but you would probably look to work some where else or another department for Amazononce you're in the door is my recommendation

Having your route cancelled 2 minutes before you check in. When you have already drove for enough to pick up the road only to get there and have it cancelled

Good workplace

The warehouse team is helpful, they speak to you with respect.Everything is prepared, just load it into the vehicle according to procedure. There is one problem. When planning your route, they don't take into account what kind of car you're driving. Many times you have to go to farms where the roads are terrible.Payment is acceptable, they are helpful in case of problems.

Amazon flex has unrealistic rules

Very unfair and unrealistic policies. I worked hard and made a lot of deliveries as well as made deliveries outside of my routes in time! The communication is horrible! Any issues they’ll contact you by email which is ridiculous…

Good work environment

Good environment when going to the warehouse to load up vehicle. But also very hectic with allot of people coming and going constantly. Decent compensation.

Amazon is fun and good for the summer other than that not much to say easy work apart from busy periods can’t rely on for money tho and have to use ur own car

This job is great , really enjoyable and not too tough. On most routes the deliveries are all in the same area and the best part is you choose when you want to work.

Flexible work & decent working environment

It’s a very good company to work it with lots of benefits.The managers treat workers equally & with respect.All race are welcome with open arms.Anyone would easily fit in.Not a bad place to work., only the absence management committee has a lot to work on.

Fun job

Only problem is when GPS doesn’t work and you got to call for driver help, everything else is fine and easy. Love to do this job, so far. .

Less money and some routes are very long

Sometimes you will get less money for a long route that will take you more than stated time and you will use more fuel ending up with less than minimum wage
