Description du poste

Your job

As a Quant Analyst, you are developing systems and algorithms to further develop and improve the automated trading software. You spend a lot of time writing code and creating systems that can handle complex data and complex processes. The work entails a combination of technical and practical aspects to find the best solutions for our trading strategies. The traders are on top of what’s going on in the market and you support them on what can be improved.

The types of projects you will be working on range from designing, testing and implementing new strategies, to tweaking existing strategies, performing data analysis to obtain a better understanding of the market and our own trading performance, or building various tools to streamline or automate certain processes. A project can take a week, a month or even several months, and sometimes we need more time to make sure we have the right result. How you approach a project is up to you, you have the freedom to create your own ideas and this is very much appreciated in our organization!

Who are you

  • You have a Master’s degree or PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Econometrics or equivalent, with exceptional grades*
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about mathematical modeling
  • You take ownership of your projects and can work independently
  • Experience with and a passion for programming (C++ is recommended, Python or other languages can demonstrate coding skills as well). Coding will cover a large part of your day

  • Minimum requirements are: (i) attending a top 200 university and (ii) top tier grades such as CH: 5.5, UK: 70%, NL: 8.0, DE: 1.6, FR: A, IT: 110L or equivalent. We value a well-rounded approach to talent assessment. While we have baseline expectations for academic performance, we understand that grades alone do not fully capture a candidate's potential or abilities. Therefore, we also welcome applicants who demonstrate exceptional skills, experience, or achievements in other areas that complement or compensate for slightly lower academic grades.

What we offer

  • Excellent remuneration (including discretionary bonus)
  • Fun and inspiring work environment
  • Experienced and knowledgeable colleagues
  • 25 vacation days
  • Additional benefits: going out for dinner regularly, Friday afternoon drinks, yearly office trip(s), weekly massages, monthly meal allowance
